Dance has been part of my life since I can remember! Dance brings me so much joy! 6 years ago I decided to join a salsa dance team for the first time and that took my dancing to the next level. It’s challenging but so rewarding! Fast forward to now, I’m still in a team, dancing with BGC Dance Co. and I’ve been loving every minute of it!

I was nervous to try learning choreography again after not dancing for two years but I am SO glad that I did! Becca and this group of women were so incredibly supportive, patient and really made this season fun and empowering! I feel so fortunate for the opportunity to be part of this team and look forward to a second season!!

It was so helpful getting back into conditioning in a supportive environment where I could refresh my proper dance technique, work on memorizing choreography again and to top it off performing with this team of ladies was a blast! Becca's choreography and vision for our Latin Fusion piece was inspiring!

BGC really set a high standard for me and challenged me to raise the bar for myself. Becca is as fantastic a teacher as she is a choreographer. If you’re willing to learn, she’ll make sure you learn. It’s a joy to be able to learn from someone who focuses on such a high level of detail, technique, precision and performance skills. Thrilled to have made new friends with a group of like-minded women!!

Since I immigrated to the US I had not been able to dance until I decided to audition for BGC Dance Company and it was definitely the best decision of my 2022, I am so grateful to be in this team that supports and loves each other so much. Dancing with them makes me feel free, happy and powerful.

It was an honor to share the love of dance with my talented team members and perform under the Space Needle in front of such a large audience…So many memorable moments, I was so happy for days after that…it was a great reminder of why I LOVE dancing so much. I felt honored to be in the presence of wonderful and powerful ladies, who all share the same passion for dance. I admire how positive and loving the team is. Becca, our fearless leader, has created an atmosphere that is truly wonderful.

I didn’t grow up training in studios nor did I have access to studio training but Becca made turns and kicks accessible and less scary for adult street dancers like myself. I take classes in other styles and go into those with confidence knowing I have some technical foundations from BGC training. I loved performing our piece in front of people. Nothing makes me happier than hearing stories of how people were inspired to take dance classes or return to dance as an adult because they saw our performance.
